ARCH 5601 // Design Office & Public Plaza // Lubbock, TX // 2016

This proposal was the result of a comprehensive studio that asked students to synthesize the education from undergraduate education in programming, design, construction, and systems. The resulting design was for a mid-sized architectural office in the arts district of Lubbock, Texas.

This architect’s office was the result of examination of the socioeconomic and cultural needs of the Llano Estacado geographic region, proposing a ‘fleet’ of design professionals that could migrate amongst the remote locations of the region while returning to the office headquarters in Lubbock. The tripartite campus design showed respect to the local agri-industrial dynamic while creating a cohesive addition to the arts district.
